I'm seeking information on the Gee family of Pushmataha County Oklahoma. Ruby Gee b. 1913 was the daughter of Henry Vanburen Gee (first postmaster of the town of GEE) and Maud Caroline Williams. I believe they were married at Ft. Smith Arkansas. I believe that Henry was born in Alread (which is now Nolia?) Oklahoma. I think Henry Gee's father was Charles Hiram Gee and it is thought that Charles was half (Cherokee ?) Indian. If anyone knows anything about this Gee family, I'd love to hear from you.

I am just starting my geneaology search and have a long way to go. My father is Garland Gene Gee who was born 2-23-51. He has a sister named Nancy Sue who is older by a couple of years I believe. Their father, my grandfather, was named E.L. Gee. I think his name was Earnest Louie??? Anyway I do know that he had a wife before my grandmother, Monnette and had two (or more??) other children before my father and his sister were born. I know that one of the other children was a girl named Brenda. I don't know about her age. I am interested in any information anyone may be able to help me with.

I am also interested in finding my grandfather again. I have only met him a couple of times in my life and at this point even my father doesn't know where he is. He used to live in Maye Texas and was married to a lady named Alice. They are no longer married and I thought he had lived in Lubbock for a while.

Not much to go on I know but any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I am searching for information about a Susan, or Susanna, Gee who married Samuel GOTHAM of Lancaster, Coos NH. Pension records of Samuel indicate Susan b. abt. 1795 Lunenburg, Essex VT and married 1815 at Lunenburg. They named one of their sons LUMAN, and being a bit of an unusual name, I am curious if there may be a connection to the family of LEUMAN and Betty Cate (Bruce) Gee - Leuman a descendant of Solomon Gee the emigrant to Lyme CT (info from the gedcom downloaded from the GEEnealogy Etc... website). Leuman and Betty's son Solomon had a daughter Susanna probably born at Lunenburg but she was most likely born after 1804 (parents marrage year). Anything anyone may know about a Susan Gee & Samuel Gotham would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks!
